Chapter 2- A Past Revisited: For Now and Forever
"We have actually met once before?"
"And we were betrothed?"
Lady Juliana nodded in agreement to both her daughter's and future son-in-law's questions. They were in the dining hall next to the large fireplace mantel. Kayley was sitting across Garrett's lap while he was relaxing into a well-carved armchair that was furnished with a few layers of fur trappings to make the seat more comfortable. Lady Juliana was sitting across from the young couple on another seat, placing the tray she had in her hand on a nearby table.
What had brought this all on was the simple notion that Lady Juliana was bringing some tea from the kitchens and had wanted to talk to Kayley about her upcoming wedding in the spring. She had found her daughter in the dining hall, surprisingly enough with Garrett who had just come in from helping one of the farmhands put up the livestock into the barn. Winter had settled over the coastal farm lands and every

After Excalibur was pulled from the stone and the coronation of the boy-king Arthur, the construction of Camelot had finally ended after a little more than a year. And with that come the full blow effects of the retrieval of Excalibur and the new king, the completion of Camelot, and the union of the segregated lands conjoined into one massive celebration which lasted for three days and three nights.
On the fourth day, the boy-king Arthur had gathered the greatest warriors of noble background and gave each of them the title 'Knight'; and thus came to be Knights of the Round Table. Soon enough after a few court settlings and clan disputes, it became clear as to who became the King's right hand man and leader of the knights: Sir Lionel of Longshore*. With his strong sense of duty, loyalty, and honor to and for Camelot and its King, it was seen as no wonder for him to be name leading knight of the Table.
Now about four months later, the festival of the Winter Solstic

Candle light softly glows in the ballroom while guest file in. Sarah watches from her hiding spot just behind a balcony, wringing her hands in nerves. A silver crown of leaves sits upon her head, and her silvery dress has an empire waist and a Queen Ann neckline.
"It's alright to be nervous precious." Jareth whispers in his wife's ear.
"I know that, but you know more than anyone there isn't room for weakness here."
"Just breath love, you'll win them over."
Jareth strides into the light from the balcony. He sports a deep blue jacket with a v-neck, showing the white tunic underneath. His black boots shine against grey breeches. An elaborate silver crown sits upon his head.
"Lords and Ladies of the Underground. It is with great pleasure I now present to you my wife and crowned queen of the Goblin Ki

No one was sure who had shouted the loudest in the room. If it was N, or the four at the entrance or if it was Mila, maybe even Touko herself. Everything happened to fast for them to really know, let alone care. They saw Touko move in front of Mila, just as Ghetsis went to strike. The next thing that they saw was Touko staggering backwards a bit before falling backwards to the ground, a crimson stain soaking her tank top and a piece of glass sticking out of her stomach. A ringing sound filed Touya’s ears, his body going numb as he dropped to his knees, unable to move any further than that. Mila’s eyes were wide in shock as she watched her trainer falling. Everything went dead silent. No one else moved and the only thing heard was the sound of everyone’s shallow breathing.
Touya could hear his own heart beating, having thought that his heart had leapt from his chest and into his ears. To be honest, he was surprised tha

Can't run from you
I'd just run back to you
Like a moth I'm drawn into your flame
You say my name but it's not the same
You look in my eyes
I'm stripped of my pride
And my soul surrenders
And you bring my heart to its knees"
Gajeel couldn't help it. He found himself searching for the mop of blue hair whenever he entered the guild. He needed to see her and make sure she was safe. He found himself sitting as close to her as possible without attracting the attention of others. Whenever she was in town, he made sure he was close enough to her to hear her voice and smell her musty old book mixed with ink smell, just so he knew she was all right and not attracting trouble.
He would watch her when he thought know one was looking and when her eyes would meet his, his heart would skip a beat. Those brown eyes full of care and concern for him would melt his iron shell that guarded his heart. She could with just a look, bring his heart down to its knees so it c

The dragon slayer sat in the middle of the ruins munching contently on the iron scraps surrounding, lost in thought. Even with his heightened hearing he wasn't aware of her presence until she fell and landed with a loud crash, a yelp following. Startled he turned around to see a small mage trying to stand up, her blue hair falling in her face.
"You okay shrimp? He asked trying not to laugh at her as he pulled her all the way up and plucked the iron scrap off her head.
"I told you not to call me that!" Levy pouted. "Anyway, Master sent me to find you. He has a job for you and wants you to leave immediately," looking around at the rubble she asked, "please tell me didn't do this just to get a snack."
"NO! It was already like this when I got here," Gajeel said looking to the side, whistling innocently.
"You're a horrible liar," Levy said sweat dropping.
Letting the comment slide he replied, "Let's go, I don't want the old man getting on my case again for being late.
I'm more of a writer than an artist, but 'the world is a stage and the people have their roles.' I do have several stories out on fanfic. |
Description: I'm a born and raise country gal, but for the moment, I'm livin' in the city. I'm from mixed background of Mexican and Native. My height is not exactly tall, but it suits me just fine. People tend to think that I'm from a different country because of my long dark hair and tanned skin. My eyes are easily mistaken for the color black (I don't mind), but they been referred as breathtaking or beautiful. From my friends perspective, I'm mysterious, quiet, and strong. But I can also be fun, outgoing, observative, and headstrong.
Likes: I love to read books. Especially paranormal romance books. My favorites authors of all-time are Gena Showalter, Nina Bangs, Madeline Baker, Christine Feehan, Lynsay Sands, Brenda Joyce, Deborah Cooke, and Lara Adrian. My favorite subjects to read about are dragons. I also tend to dive into a couple of other subjects. Basically, I'm self-taught paranormal expert, ghosts to dragons...oh and mythology. Mega anime and manga fan. Love to see canon couple pictures.
