Chapter 2- A Past Revisited: For Now and Forever
"We have actually met once before?"
"And we were betrothed?"
Lady Juliana nodded in agreement to both her daughter's and future son-in-law's questions. They were in the dining hall next to the large fireplace mantel. Kayley was sitting across Garrett's lap while he was relaxing into a well-carved armchair that was furnished with a few layers of fur trappings to make the seat more comfortable. Lady Juliana was sitting across from the young couple on another seat, placing the tray she had in her hand on a nearby table.
What had brought this all on was the simple notion that Lady Juliana was bringing some tea from the kitchens and had wanted to talk to Kayley about her upcoming wedding in the spring. She had found her daughter in the dining hall, surprisingly enough with Garrett who had just come in from helping one of the farmhands put up the livestock into the barn. Winter had settled over the coastal farm lands and every

After Excalibur was pulled from the stone and the coronation of the boy-king Arthur, the construction of Camelot had finally ended after a little more than a year. And with that come the full blow effects of the retrieval of Excalibur and the new king, the completion of Camelot, and the union of the segregated lands conjoined into one massive celebration which lasted for three days and three nights.
On the fourth day, the boy-king Arthur had gathered the greatest warriors of noble background and gave each of them the title 'Knight'; and thus came to be Knights of the Round Table. Soon enough after a few court settlings and clan disputes, it became clear as to who became the King's right hand man and leader of the knights: Sir Lionel of Longshore*. With his strong sense of duty, loyalty, and honor to and for Camelot and its King, it was seen as no wonder for him to be name leading knight of the Table.
Now about four months later, the festival of the Winter Solstic
He extended his arm to hold out a peace offering to the fuming brunette. He knew that rejection in the form of a shrug, a slap, or a cold shoulder was just as likely as acceptance. Drew was hoping for the latter, but he braced himself for anything.
“What is this?” While she was trying to act cool and nonchalant, Drew knew that the sight of the ice cream cone had piqued May’s interest and brought a sparkle to her eyes. The moment that she turned her gaze away from the distant trees and onto the cone in his hand, her entire demeanor had transformed. The change was subtle, and she actually was doing a decent job of hiding her delight; however, Drew could read her better than most people could. She didn’t give him enough credit for that.
“It’s an apology.” He stretched his arm out a little further, patiently awaiting her response. Secretly he hoped that she would make up her mind soon, before two scoops of chocolate melted onto
N turned at the sound of her voice, only to blink in surprise at the minor distance between their faces. “Yes White?” he asked, quite surprisingly in fact as White leaned closer. Her arms comfortably rested on the armchair of the sofa that he sat, and a cheeky little smirk curved her lips to see the red in his cheeks.
Without another word, White placed a soft kiss on his forehead. The simple act startled N nevertheless, his hands almost dropped the book that he was reading. A few seconds and a dumbfounded blink later, N stared as White stood up straight.
Her smirk softened to a smile, cheeks just as adorably red as his. “I love you, you big pine tree.”
Her confession, albeit the nickname she’d blatantly given her, only darkened the colour in his cheeks. Finally, a laugh escaped his smiling mouth. One hand moving to the heat of his forehead, N rubbed the warm skin and bashfully replied, “I love you too.”

I'm more of a writer than an artist, but 'the world is a stage and the people have their roles.' I do have several stories out on fanfic. |
Description: I'm a born and raise country gal, but for the moment, I'm livin' in the city. I'm from mixed background of Mexican and Native. My height is not exactly tall, but it suits me just fine. People tend to think that I'm from a different country because of my long dark hair and tanned skin. My eyes are easily mistaken for the color black (I don't mind), but they been referred as breathtaking or beautiful. From my friends perspective, I'm mysterious, quiet, and strong. But I can also be fun, outgoing, observative, and headstrong.
Likes: I love to read books. Especially paranormal romance books. My favorites authors of all-time are Gena Showalter, Nina Bangs, Madeline Baker, Christine Feehan, Lynsay Sands, Brenda Joyce, Deborah Cooke, and Lara Adrian. My favorite subjects to read about are dragons. I also tend to dive into a couple of other subjects. Basically, I'm self-taught paranormal expert, ghosts to dragons...oh and mythology. Mega anime and manga fan. Love to see canon couple pictures.
